Another quiet week on the TV front. With pledge season beginning on most PBS stations, that's likely to change soon, so try not to miss reading the column for the next few weeks, in case something exciting happens. |

BBC America is changing its Doctor Who broadcast times - again. Beginning Tuesday, August 15, the show will air Tuesdays through Fridays at 5AM, instead of Mondays through Fridays at 5AM. (this was clarified as just a one week change next edition) |

Fans in Iowa who were looking forward to Doctor Who's start time returning to 11:05PM should tune in tonight and enjoy it - it will only happen this week. A special sci-fi mini-series will air as a marathon next week, then take the 11:05PM spot for 6 weeks beginning August 11, returning Doctor Who to either 11:30 or 11:35PM. |

If you are attending the Republican convention or the demonstrations near it in Philadelphia, remember that WYBE 35 airs 2 Doctor Who episodes every Saturday night at 11PM. And if you have access to BBC America, you can wake up early in the morning to see the show there, too. |
